Humanity is a colorful puzzle of about seven billion multi-colored individuals. And there are an infinite number of ways to describe these individuals. There are people who associate themselves with their work. A boss, a performer, a service person. There are people who associate themselves with their character. A shy person, a confident person, a thoughtful person, or a “crazy” person. Some describe themselves through religion or nationality. There are even people who consider hair color to be the most important thing. For example, a blonde person. I am sure that the mention of any such label immediately creates a corresponding picture in your head. You draw a person for yourself, knowing practically nothing about him.

And here Human Design comes into the picture. And it explains that in fact people are divided into only five categories. Each person is born with one of the following Types: Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, Reflector.

The Type is determined by which of the available Centers are defined and which Centers they are connected to. Simply put, it all depends on which Centers are colored in on your diagram. This shows you one of the most secret pieces of knowledge about yourself. And not only about yourself, but also about other people. I will say more. Armed with this knowledge, you begin to see in a different light even people with whom you have known, it seems, for a hundred years. You begin to realize their true life and understand how to properly treat them. Of course, breaking established stereotypes is not an easy task. But Human Design will make you take on this work. It will allow you to see the true face of a person and will allow you to communicate truly face to face. The Bodygraph allows us to find out what human Type we belong to. Any doubts about whether you read it correctly are resolved simply. Read it again. Print it out, put the picture in front of you and read it again. And remember: if you don't recognize yourself in what you read, it only speaks of Conditioning influences that make you act in a way that is not typical for you. It is quite possible that when Generators are relaxed in response, Manifestors initiate, Projectors lead, and Reflectors reflect a level of satisfaction and authenticity to the world.

Generators are designed to respond from the Sacral Center with guttural sounds, like a vibration from the lower chest to the throat (simple Generators), or as an actual movement into action (more common among Manifesting Generators). Responses are based on the willingness of their Sacral energy to do what is asked of them. Once simple Generators respond and commit to this activity, they go through a step-by-step process that completely encompasses each stage of their development. They do not have a motor connection to the Throat Center, so they encounter energy blockages along the way. At each of these stops, they must be re-initiated with a new question, insight, or further instruction for a new response. To avoid the temptation to quit when these transit points are reached, the Sacral must be committed to the process from the beginning. The gift of pure Generators is to demonstrate their ability to improve and become masters of tasks, projects, or skills.

Manifesting Generators have a motor connection to the Throat, which allows them to move quickly from response to action. This helps them see which steps are essential and which can be skipped, for this is their gift for effectiveness. However, this same efficiency creates a dilemma for them - they tend to be so impatient and move through a task so quickly that they miss steps. They often need to go back and finish what they missed, which causes frustration. This frustration can be avoided without reducing efficiency.

Projectors make up about 20 percent of the population. Their Strategy is to move through life by waiting to be recognized for their special qualities and to receive an invitation. It is through invitation that they feel recognized and succeed in life. If they initiate instead of waiting, they will encounter resistance and rejection, resulting in bitterness. The gift of Projectors is the understanding of others and the ability to guide them.

There are two things that distinguish a Projector in the BodyGraph. The first is their undefined Sacral Center, and the second is the lack of a motor connection to the Throat Center. This means that Projectors do not have the natural potential to generate or manifest. Without a consistent and reliable means of generating or manifesting energy, Projectors, along with Reflectors, are classified as a non-energy type. Using their experiential wisdom about energy, these two Types can enhance the understanding and productivity of the energy types (Generators and Manifestors). Projector charts can be formed by two or more specific centers, up to eight.

Projectors are a new energy archetype on the planet that has emerged since 1781. Prior to the Human Design System, Projectors had no direct way to fully embrace both the uniqueness of their auric field and the specific role of their Type. Until the last century, Manifestors and Generators dominated positions of leadership and authority in the world. However, in the future, it will be Projectors who will begin to move into positions of greater power, exercising leadership in a new direction. This will happen as energy types recognize the value of the Projector gift for themselves and enhance the natural Projector potential by inviting them to direct. Just as Manifestors are becoming free to initiate processes, and Generators are becoming attuned to their own natural creative productive force, Projectors are beginning to emerge as the administrators of the new order.

What sets Projectors apart from the other three Types is their focused and testing aura, and their way of interacting with people on a deeper energetic level. Despite their natural brilliance and willingness to accept the expectations and energy of others, they try to imitate Manifestors and Generators and lose themselves in the process. How Projectors can rediscover themselves and their important and rightful place in the whole begins with a comprehensive look at the complex nature of their unique configuration.

Projectors tend to be quite open to life. They have an aura that penetrates into another's aura to absorb and evaluate energetically. With their ability to see the big picture, recognize the talents and gifts of others, and bring people together, they can be exceptional advisors, administrators, and natural conductors. Projectors can also be gifted organizers and masters of the most effective use of energy and resources, as they see things that others often miss. However, understanding how to best use a person's energy does not give them the right to tell others what to do. Part of their role and purpose here on earth is to guide others, knowing how to ask the right questions. Projectors have a natural gift for diplomacy that they should develop.

Projectors are naturally rising to the top of the Type hierarchy these days, but they have a long way to go, and much depends on having the awakened and conscious energy of Manifestors and Generators to work with. Projectors are more interested in other people's designs than their own, and typically seek systems that help them understand individuals, groups, and more effective ways of collaborating with others.

Recognition is the Projector's key to understanding how their Strategy connects them to Authority and the world around them. In some ways, recognition is to a Projector what response is to a Generator. Their power of strategic recognition creates a direction for them, the boundaries of which they maintain by selectively accepting invitations. Projectors' ability to recognize what suits them best, and their need for others to recognize their own unique talents, is an essential characteristic of their aura. The Projector aura is an "I am open to invitation" theme that attracts people into their lives and invites invitations. Recognition through formal invitation is the way other Types show their respect and strengthen Projectors.

As with Generators, waiting is a characteristic of the Projector Strategy, although their responses are not as readily available as the Sacred Response. To further analyze these subtle differences, we have divided Projectors into three main categories based on their chart configurations. Illustrations are on the next page.

Manifestors make up about 9 percent of the population. Their Strategy is to inform others of their decisions before they act, in order to reduce resistance. When Manifestors cannot manifest in a calm state, they experience anger. Manifestors are designed to influence and serve as initiation mechanisms for other Types. Initiation is their gift to the world.

Two features distinguish the Manifestor design from other types. First, the lack of a defined Sacral Center, which immediately places Manifestors in the global minority. Second, a direct or indirect connection between the Throat Center and one of the three remaining motors in the BodyGraph: the Heart, Solar Plexus, or Root.

The saga of humanity unfolded under the control of Manifestors: they did not have to wait for the grace of the "gods" or outside forces in order to act. The exceptional ability of Manifestors to create, or manifest, their ideas, combined with their closed and repulsive aura, often elevated them to the rank of rulers, warrior kings or high priests. As the only "pure doers" of all the Types, Manifestors conquered and defended kingdoms, securing and maintaining their power with the laws they established. Our surviving religious and secular hierarchies are the result of Manifestors' attempts to maintain control and avoid the possibility of their power being challenged.

The traditional ruler role that Manifestors held for centuries ended around 1781, when the transition from the 7-centered to the 9-centered form began. Today, Manifestors are still instruments of the Yang/Yang principle (primal force), now living in the Yin/Yin (receptive) environment of the dominant Generator world. Instead of dreaming of empires or defining the goals of civilizations, they seek opportunities to integrate their innate independence and unique power of influence in the current society, which has deprived them of freedom of action.

In the modern world, the incredible gift of Manifestors is their ability to act independently, to initiate actions, and also to influence the actions of others. However, when this is perceived as a threat or unpredictability, these same qualities can cause anxiety in the other three Types, which often leads to overt attempts to control Manifestors. Manifestors are comfortable in solitude, where they find peace to manifest their desires. This is their natural path, and they do not need outside help. They cannot understand why others even care about what they do. Not only that, they are also tried to control their actions, starting with their parents, etc. Early unpleasant stories of conditioned experience, mixed with resistance, push Manifestors to the theme of their false "I" - anger. This anger will be expressed in one of two ways: as rage and rebellion, or as passivity and weakness. Both expressions stifle the Manifestors' power and devalue them - which is why following the Strategy is so important. By informing and thus removing the resistance of others, Manifestors find what they seek most in life, peace and quiet for the actions they want to take.

Manifestors are not particularly interested in themselves, but they are able to act from their Authority, without needing to be asked or invited by anyone. They are self-sufficient, independent, and tend to see others as a bit odd, stuck, or unable to get out of a jam without help. With their ability to peer into the future, Manifestors often feel as if they are waiting for everyone else to catch up.

Questions common to Manifestors: "Will I be answered? Will anyone here move because of my words or actions? Will anyone respond to my initiation?" This basic pressure to influence and make "things move" is key to fulfilling their destiny. They are most content when left alone to do what they like, but the other three Types look to the Manifestor to initiate them or to start a new process where each of them can make a significant contribution. Manifestors often look to other Types to get specific energy to realize their dreams. In a perfect world, Manifestors start a process, Projectors lead it, Generators provide the energy to realize and complete it, and Reflectors provide feedback on whether everything is going well.

Reflectors represent approximately 1 percent of the population. Their Strategy is to wait for a full Moon cycle before making an important decision. Reflectors enjoy the surprises that life brings. When they initiate and do not use their Strategy, they feel disappointed in life. Reflectors are created to be judges of humanity and mirrors of injustice. Their gift to this world is the ability to clearly separate “this” from “that”.

The Reflector BodyGraph is easy to identify, as all nine centers remain open. Instead of fixed definitions, Reflectors have only activated gates. When these gates connect to the harmonious gates of other auras or transiting celestial bodies, they form channels. The unusual way of sensing and processing energy, different from all other Types, means that Reflectors live by different rules and are truly extraordinary in many ways. Reflectors represent approximately 1 percent of the population.

Reflectors are unique in their perspective, unobtrusive in their auric presence, and extraordinary in their role. They are born with a special sensitivity to the cosmic environment and the effects of neutrino flows on humans. Like the canary in the coal mine, they absorb, reflect, and test the quality of the space around them daily. Reflectors can be so attuned to the transit program that they can see how others are attuned to it. They sense those who are living their lives authentically and those who are conditioned and victimized by the transit field. The more people allow themselves to live their lives conditioned by transits, the further they are from fulfilling their own potential. Reflectors are able to see someone who is ready to become their own Authority. They sense or sense the physical, psychological, and emotional health of an environment, community, or group and are designed to give an objective assessment of what is working and what is not. Once someone becomes awakened and aware, Reflectors are there, ready to objectively share their vision or reflect back what they have absorbed. This is how Reflectors enter the center of society and become "visible." Reflectors are designed to amplify the life energy of others and are able to reflect their energies back in an extraordinary way.

The unique ability to see another dispassionately greatly increases a person's level of awareness, and this is the potential gift of Reflectors. The unobtrusive, unobtrusive nature of their auric presence also makes Reflectors particularly effective facilitators in group processes. As long as Reflectors are not able to be correct and are an amplified version of the homogenized world around them, these gifts remain only potential.

Many of the characteristics of Reflectors resonate with a time when our human ancestors lived in harmony with the cosmos, in flow with nature and in one community with others. Gradually, their ways of surviving in harmony with the natural flow of nature were supplanted by the aggressive strategic ways of the evolving mental consciousness. Once mental dominance took over, hierarchies based on dominance emerged, and there was no place for the sensitive and gentle Reflectors at the top of this structure.

However, a new natural hierarchy is now beginning to emerge, in which Reflectors will play their graceful role, for they always stand for pure justice. With their calm, unobtrusive aura, they will take their rightful place at the center of the hierarchy of Types, reflecting back to the world the injustices of the false self that they see around them.

Reflectors are here to nudge humanity toward a just, peaceful, and equitable global community in anticipation of the birth of those who will carry the consciousness of spirit after 2027. In order for Reflectors to take this place and fulfill their role, the other three Types must be authentic, aware, and open to the Reflector's verdict. Manifestors, Generators, and Projectors are solar Types. This means that they "radiate" their purpose. Reflectors are lunar Types and function like the lunar reflection of the Sun. They are designed to reflect the programming imprint of neutrinos. Like the Moon, the Reflector's glow is subtle, but powerful, especially when detected or noted by others.

The chemistry of the nine undefined Reflector centers can sample as well as amplify the frequencies of anything or anyone in their environment, allowing them to taste or sense the reality of what is happening in a way that no one else can. The unique potential of their design allows them to reflect everything around them with complete dispassion, making their openness a source of unparalleled wisdom. However, even with all nine centers open, the Reflector is no more vulnerable to conditioning than other Types. In fact, the aura of Reflectors is the most "elastic"
